It’s payback time. Melissa Midwest is suing the Lincoln, Nebraska police department, claiming their tactics are a form of harrassment.

Last year, she was arrested for public nudity for the second time. Since her first arrest a couple of years ago the police having been following her around and even threating bar owners not to hire her for. And when she does go out, she says there’s often three or four police officers following her at the bars. That’s crazy! You’d think the police might have more important things to worry about.

Her arrest last year came when Melissa Midwest was hosting a wet t-shirt contest. She was topless but had her nipples covered. That wasn’t enough for the Lincoln, Nebraska P.D.

In 2004, she was fined $150 for posting pictures of herself nude in public on her website.

So, she’s had enough. She’s suing the police department and if she wins any money she’s donating to a local charity.
